Founded in 2017, Jagatipota Urban Sabujayan Puja and Cultural Association has grown from a small group of dedicated individuals into a thriving hub of cultural exchange and community engagement. Our journey began with a vision to bridge the gap between our cherished Indian traditions and the bustling urban lifestyle we find ourselves in today.

Over the years, our association has become a symbol of unity and inclusivity, bringing together people from all walks of life who share a passion for art, culture, and community. We are proud to have not only preserved our cultural heritage but also adapted it to the modern world, making it accessible and relevant to all generations.

At Urban Sabujayan, our mission is to promote and preserve the rich tapestry of our culture and heritage while creating a sense of belonging among our members. We aim to:
 

• Celebrate Festivals: We organize vibrant and authentic celebrations of major Indian festivals, such as Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, Poila Boishakh, Ganesh Chaturthi, Chaat Puja, Christmas etc. offering a taste of pan India right in the heart of the city.

 

• Cultural Exchange: We encourage cultural exchange by organizing workshops, seminars, and cultural programs to showcase the diversity and depth of our culture.

 

• Community Engagement: Our association actively engages in social and community initiatives, supporting local charities and promoting community service.

 

• Youth Empowerment: We inspire and engage the younger generation to connect with their cultural roots, providing a platform for artistic expression and skill development through multiple indoor and outdoor sports like cricket, football, badminton, chess, carrom etc.

 

• Unity in Diversity: We foster an environment of inclusivity, where people from different backgrounds and communities come together to celebrate the rich heritage of India, including our most respected senior citizen community through care giving activities.
